Balcan Innovations Expands US Manufacturing with New W&H and Bandera Extrusion Lines in Wisconsin

The two manufacturing lines are the first assets to be installed in the company’s newly enclosed 15,250 square-foot building expansion, joining an existing fleet of state-of-the-art extrusion, printing, and converting machinery. These additions are poised to increase Balcan Innovations’ US capacity, strengthen manufacturing redundancies across their network, and enhance PCR incorporation. “Since opening our US flagship five years ago, our investment strategy has been focused exclusively on adding the most advanced manufacturing technology in the industrial packaging industry,” said André Desroches, Chief Operating Officer at Balcan Innovations. “These assets are no exception and are now in place to support emerging market trends and strategic growth in the US.”
These latest W&H and Bandera extruders are part of Balcan Innovations’ broader 3-year $200M investment and were purpose-built to support growth across their portfolio of shrink films, shipping sacks, and protective packaging for the Building & Construction, Lawn & Garden, Beverage, and Chemical industries.
“We’re grateful to our partners at Berghammer Construction, W&H and Bandera, and the Village of Pleasant Prairie,” added Desroches. “Their expertise, speed to execution, and collaboration were essential to bringing this project to life. What’s exciting is that there are even more milestones to come both in 2026 and the years that follow.”
