Balcan Innovations Announces the Launch of Their Newest POLYTEX Tuber In Wisconsin

Now fully operational, the new tuber joins an existing fleet of W&H extrusion and printing lines in Pleasant Prairie, boasting line speeds of 575 feet per minute and a fully-integrated camera monitoring system. The POLYTEX positions Balcan Innovations to expand on their Plastixx brand’s industry-leading quality and innovative vent channel technology for its flagship products XFLO™, XFLO+™, and XVERSA™. “This investment is part of our broader strategy to enhance our manufacturing redundancies for our North American operations,” said Michelle Wilson, Chief Commercial Officer. “With this addition, we’re ensuring that our Terrebonne and Pleasant Prairie facilities can both independently support emerging market trends and our growing customer demand for tubular FFS films across the Building & Construction, Chemical, and Aggregates industries.”  

The installation of the POLYTEX follows Balcan Innovations' June commissioning of their MIRAFLEX press and marks the second completed milestone in their previously announced $200M investment plan focused on added capacity, expanded technical capabilities, and accelerated US growth. “We’re just scratching the surface,” stated Wilson. “Over the next 3 years, we plan to maintain this accelerated rate of progress with numerous state-of-the-art manufacturing lines set to roll out across our extrusion, printing, and converting operations.”
